Ghost as a character

The ghost knows that he was shot but does not know by whom. So thru the whole "trivium" he is trying to find out information about his own death and is more successful than the govt at finding out some info.

Was it the assassin turned anti assassin? was it the head of the internal security forces?

As I cross the river Styx and give my coin for passage, I feel that half my head is gone but I am still spirit in some sense.
